Lauren's Journey

Lauren has been diligently preparing for this career for over a decade.

Beginning her journey in music education in 2012, she made a pivotal decision to change her major during her senior year of undergraduate studies. Recognizing that the field of education was not the best fit for her, Lauren transitioned to psychology in 2016, a discipline she had encountered during her initial studies. While pursuing her psychology degree, she discovered a profound interest in specializing in relationships. This inclination was a natural extension of her lifelong role in assisting friends with their relationship challenges.

Despite her strong inclination to advance in the field of relationships, financial constraints necessitated a shift in 2020. Lauren paused her pursuit and secured a full-time position with a stable salary and benefits. She opted to leverage her educational background in combination with her psychology expertise, taking on a role teaching students who struggle with emotional and behavioral regulation. Her goal was to make a meaningful impact by equipping these students with tools and coping skills to enhance their resilience. The skills and experience gained from this role have proven to be invaluable assets.

During this period, Lauren embarked on a personal journey of sexual exploration and awakening. She delved into the realm of BDSM and kink, areas of interest she had been contemplating for several years. She also discovered her bisexuality and embraced a non-monogamous lifestyle, restructuring her relationships to align with this realization. Over the past seven years, she has embraced these aspects of her identity, navigating various challenges and reaping significant rewards.

With financial stability achieved, Lauren decided in 2023 to pursue her passion for specializing in relationships. Her research led her to the Somatica® Institute, where she felt both excitement and apprehension upon discovering the program. It quickly became clear that this was the ideal program for her, offering not only the certification she sought but also an emphasis on sexual freedom. The Somatica® Institute's program has exceeded her expectations, and she is thrilled to have taken this step.
